Cedar Glen’s history is tied to the lumber industry and the quaint town still has the rustic feeling of the old West. Located on the way to the Pacific Crest Trail, you can hunt and shop for unique finds unique antiques & collectibles, exquisite home decor & furnishings, floral arrangements, art, crafts, gifts and one-of-a-kind treasures.
Situated on the historic Rim of the World Hwy-18 overlooking the San Bernardino Valley below, you will find this charming forest town. Originally settled in the 1860’s as a strawberry farm, the town would first be known as Strawberry Flat. Some of the first buildings to be constructed in the town can still be visited today, including the Antlers Inn and Pine Rose Cabins. In Spring, hundreds of daffodils will famously bloom in the area. This is home to another famous hike at Strawberry Peak Lookout!
Located 6,000 feet above sea level, the “Gateway to the San Bernardino Mountains”, this area has a rich history in logging dating back to the late 1800’s. Running Springs is located between Snow Valley Ski Resort and Lake Arrowhead, and 17 miles west of Big Bear Lake.
