This is a popular campground for families who love to fish, swim and hike as it is about one mile from Green Valley Lake nestled high in the mountain forest. It has 37 camping sites of which 11 sites are on a first come-first serve basis, and the other 26 sites are by reservations only. The amenities include 1 campfire ring, picnic table, flush toilets and drinking water. located about a mile from this beautiful mountain campground. Reservations can be made as early as 6 months or as late as 24 hours in advance by calling 1-877-444-6777 or through recreation.gov. A United States Forest Service Adventure Pass ($5 per day or $30 for the year) is required for parking.
Directions: Take Hwy-18 to Arrowbear to the midway point between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear and go north on Green Valley Lake Road. Turn left, 6 miles through town to dead end and Campground entrance.
