Historical Tour of Pinecrest Resort

Join us for a rare chance to tour Pinecrest Resort, one of the most historic sites on the mountain!
Event begins with lunch and presentation by historian Bill Pumford followed by a walking tour.
Location: 1140 Pinecrest Rd, Twin Peaks (off Hwy. 189)
Park in the Main Parking Lot (near the ballfield) and gather at the amphitheater.

When renowned mountain pioneer Dr. John Baylis opened Pinecrest Resort in 1909 he had two goals:
- Help save the forest from being over-logged by building the largest resort in the San Bernardino Mountains.
- Provide a haven where the average family could enjoy the beauty of nature.
Today the site is Pinecrest Christian Conference Center, a popular destination for groups looking for a retreat site or youth camp.
